Stores Support

The partnership between local Walmart stores and Children's Miracle Network at Sanford Children's Hospital began in 1994 when the stores in Yankton, Aberdeen, Brookings, Sioux Falls, Watertown and Pierre combined to donate $36,652. In 2008, there were 13 local stores that combined to donate over $208,000! Over the last 13 years, local Walmart stores have donated $1,367,025 to help the children of our area!

As sponsors of the Children's Miracle Network, employees of regional Walmart stores have a passion for Sanford Children's, dedicating themselves throughout the year to raising awareness and support for its programs and services. The Walmart North Wing in the new Castle of Care is named to honor the regional Walmart Stores in recognition of their generous support of Sanford Children's Hospital.
